Marie-Amélie PÉTRÉ, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) since September 2021, focusing on projects related to groundwater management and contamination, including the NeAs project in Nepal and PFAS studies in Finland. Prior to this role, Marie-Amélie served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at North Carolina State University, investigating the transport of PFAS from groundwater to streams, and held a Postdoctoral fellowship at CNRS, where research concentrated on hydrochemical characterization of the Thau lagoon area in France. Marie-Amélie's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology and advanced studies in Environmental Management, complemented by various research and project management experiences in environmental and hydrogeological sciences across multiple organizations.
