Tero Niiranen

Tero Niiranen is a highly experienced geologist with a robust academic background and extensive professional history in geological research and management. Since May 2008, Tero Niiranen has held multiple positions at the Geological Survey of Finland, including Research Professor and Acting Division Manager, advancing significant geological studies. Prior to this, Tero Niiranen served as Chief Geologist at Northland Exploration Finland Oy from June 2005 to April 2008. Tero Niiranen holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Helsinki, obtained between 2001 and 2005, and a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Turku, completed from 1994 to 2000.
