Hannes Moser

Hannes Moser is a seasoned professional in the fields of software engineering and geospatial technology, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of GEOMAGIC Utility Solutions Inc. since October 2021 and as the Head of the Business Unit Geospatial at GEOMAGIC GmbH since March 2010. Moser's extensive experience includes roles such as Head of Operations, Head of GIS and Quality Management, and Senior Technical Consultant, focusing on geographical information systems, optimization, project management, and consulting. Prior to these positions, Moser was a research assistant at the University of Jena, engaging in scientific research on network analysis and combinatorial optimization. Early career experiences include programming positions at the Fraunhofer Institute and exquisit Technologies, emphasizing expertise in C++ and Java. Hannes Moser holds a PhD in Computer Science from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and a Diploma in the same field from the same institution, complemented by studies at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
