Yuriy Petrakov is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Geonaft since October 2016. Previously, Yuriy held the position of Deputy General Director at Volga Gas PLC from July 2015 to October 2016, where operations focused on oil, gas, and condensate production in the Volgograd and Saratov regions. Before that, Yuriy worked at Schlumberger from December 2005 to June 2015, advancing from a Geomechanics Engineer to the Russia and Central Asia Geomechanics Technical Lead, overseeing business development and managing technical projects across multiple countries. Yuriy began the career as a Geologist of I degree at JSC "Dalmorneftegeophysica" from August 2004 to November 2005, specializing in velocity and structural modeling.
