Michael A. Dunn has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 40 years. Michael A. began their career at Shell in 1979, where they held various roles including Manager Interpretation Research, Province Leader- Offshore Louisiana, Lead Operations Geophysicist, and Exploration Geophysicist and Party Chief. In 1997, they founded Geokinetics and served as Vice President & Chief Technology Officer and President GDC (a Geokinetics subsidiary). In 2009, they became Vice President Of Technology at Woodside Energy (US). In 2013, they joined Halliburton as Sr. Director R&D - Geophysics, Geology and Reservoir Engineering and Sr. Director R&D - Seismic Data Processing and Imaging. Most recently, they were Senior Vice President of Business Development and Executive Consultant at Geophysical Insights.
Michael A. Dunn obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from Rutgers University and a Master's Degree in Geophysics from the University of Chicago.
