Tony Marston has worked in the software development industry since 2007. Tony began their career as an Architect/Designer/Developer for Wedding Rings Direct, where they created a web-based ERP/eCommerce application in PHP. In 2008, they joined Transition Engineering Limited to make the application available to a wider range of companies. At Transition Engineering Limited, they modified front-end code to replace dummy data with calls to the database and payment processors. In 2010, they worked for Airlock on Westminster City Council's 'MyWestminster' website, integrating Microsoft Dynamics/Lagan CRM with Symphony CMS via web services. Tony also worked for the London Borough of Havering, part of a team of contractors who updated the council's website to display mapping (GIS) data. In 2011, they worked as a Consultant for Radicore Software Limited, providing ad hoc support for previous projects. In 2012, they worked as an API Developer for Flubit Limited and BITE Consulting Group Ltd. In 2013, they worked as an API Developer for Andrew Page Ltd, and in 2014 they became Director of Research and Development for Geoprise Technologies.

Tony Marston attended Chichester High School for Boys from 1962 to 1967, followed by Chichester College of Further Education from 1968 to 1971.
