Konrad Kuczynski

Konrad Kuczynski has worked primarily for Geoquip Marine, starting in 2019 as a Chief Officer / SDPO. Konrad held this position multiple times throughout the years, with their most recent role being in 2023. Konrad's responsibilities included working on board geotechnical vessels, overseeing drydock preparations, planning and supervising jobs at the dock, and conducting DP FMEA trials offshore. In 2018, they briefly worked for MMA Offshore Limited as an SDPO / Chief Officer.

Konrad Kuczynski obtained a Master's degree in Navigation from the Marine Academy in Szczecin, from the year 1995 to 2000. Konrad also acquired various additional certifications throughout their career. These certifications include a Master Mariner Certificate on ships of 3000 Gross Tonnage and more, obtained in October 2022 from Urząd Morski Gdynia. In 2016, they obtained certifications in Advanced Fire Fighting, Bridge Resource Management, ECDIS, Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities, Proficiency in Survival Craft&Rescue Boats other than FRB, Ship Security Officer, Training in Medical First Aid, and Utilizing of Radar and ARPA Management Level, all from Urząd Morski Gdynia. Additionally, they obtained the GMDSS General operator's certification from Glowny Urzad Statystyczny in August 2015. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in Basic Safety Training in Personal Survival Techniques and Personal Survival Techniques in June 2014, Proficiency for seafarers with designated security duties and Proficiency in Security-awareness in December 2013. Konrad also acquired the BOSIET including HUET&EBS certification from OPITO in June 2013. In addition, they obtained the Medical Care certification from Urząd Morski Gdynia in March 2013. Earlier in their career, in June 2008, they obtained the Dynamic Positioning Operator Certificate unlimited from The Nautical Institute, and in March 2008, they acquired the Shipboard Safety Officer certification from Videotel Marine International. Lastly, in August 2005, they obtained the Bridge Team Management certification from The Gdynia Maritime School Ltd.
