Alexis Massenburg

Alexis Massenburg currently serves as the Student Transition Empowerment Program Student Support Coordinator at George Mason University, where responsibilities include organizing and executing over 40 large-scale events and promoting activities to 7,500 students. Previous experience includes a Research Intern position focused on the Black community's history in Fairfax and completing a research course, as well as a Pathways Intern role at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, managing the digital policy library and enhancing navigation systems for policies. Additionally, Alexis acted as a liaison between the Global Health Access Institute and the George Mason Board of Nurses, implementing important health initiatives. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs and Foreign Languages from George Mason University and ongoing studies for a Master of Arts in International Affairs at The George Washington University.
