Amarda Shehu serves as the VP and Chief AI Officer, Associate Dean for AI Innovation, Professor of Computer Science, and Associate Vice President of Research for the Institute of Digital InnovAtion at George Mason University, where a strong involvement in transdisciplinary initiatives is demonstrated through affiliated appointments in the School of Systems Biology and the Department of Bioengineering, as well as participation in the Nanotechnology Initiative. Previous experience includes serving as Program Director at the National Science Foundation and Co-Director of the Center for Advancing Human-Machine Partnerships at George Mason University.
