David Samudio

David Samudio is an accomplished academic and software engineer with extensive experience in programming languages, software engineering, and human-computer interaction. As an Assistant Professor at George Mason University since August 2015, David integrates research and industry experience into curriculum development to prepare students for real-world challenges. Previous roles include serving as an Adjunct Professor at both George Mason University and Universidad del Norte, where David taught foundational concepts in information technology and advanced courses in software engineering. David has also held positions as a Software Engineer at Quality Telecom Ltd. and was involved in significant research efforts focusing on engineering education and algorithms for computer networks. David's educational background includes a PhD in Information Technology and a Master's in Software Engineering, both from George Mason University, complementing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Universidad del Norte.
