Gene Crouch

Gene Crouch, MBA, currently serves as the Associate Vice President and Treasurer at George Mason University since January 2022, overseeing entity-wide treasury functions, including debt management, cash liquidity, and investment management. Crouch previously held multiple positions at the University of Virginia, culminating as Director of Treasury from November 2015 to December 2021, after serving as Senior Manager and Manager in various treasury and accounts receivable roles. Crouch’s extensive experience encompasses capital markets, cash management, internal banking, and capital debt management, with a proven track record in budget development, financing, and financial integrity for major capital projects. Crouch earned an MBA from Averett University and a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and Marketing from Ferrum College.
