Holly Kearl is a seasoned communications consultant currently working at George Mason University since November 2025, and is the founder of Stop Street Harassment (SSH), a nonprofit organization established in 2008 dedicated to combating gender-based street harassment globally. With extensive experience as a sexual harassment consultant since 2012, Holly has advised on various sexual harassment issues, providing expert insights to organizations such as the Washington, D.C. government, USAID, and UN Women. Previously, Holly served as Community Manager for the New Voices Fellowship at The Aspen Institute and worked with The OpEd Project to elevate diverse voices in public discourse. Holly is also the author of key works focusing on public harassment and gender issues, and has held various positions in educational and nonprofit organizations, including a role as Adjunct Professor and Program Manager at AAUW. Holly holds a Master's degree in Public Policy/Women's Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in History and Women/Gender Studies from Santa Clara University.
