Shu-Chen Cuff

Shu-Chen Cuff is an accomplished dance professional with extensive experience in both teaching and performance. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University since January 2023, Shu-Chen also holds the position of Founder and Artistic Director of Gin Dance Company, a role undertaken since May 2011. With a rich background in various dance forms, including Ballet, Modern, Chinese Opera, and Chinese folk dances, Shu-Chen's journey began in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, before immigrating to the United States to further their dance training. In addition to these roles, Shu-Chen has contributed as Guest Instructor and Choreographer at Ashburn Academy of Dance, and as Faculty and Guest Choreographer at Metropolitan School of the Arts, while also teaching and performing at BalletNova Center for Dance. Shu-Chen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performing Arts from the University of Florida, earned from 1994 to 1998.
