Michelle Pedigo is currently a Board Member at Georgetown College. Michelle has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on management and strategy.
Pedigo began their career at MetLife in 2002, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of the Southeast Region. In this role, they were responsible for managing and developing over 840 advisors and support associates, as well as growing the organization to $154 million in total revenue.
During their time at MetLife, Pedigo led the region through significant realignment strategies that reduced costs while increasing profitability and creating consistency. Michelle also utilised an associate empowerment approach to lead team members to achieve per/rep productivity and gross distribution margin objectives.
In addition to their work at MetLife, Pedigo has also been active in the financial services industry as a whole. Michelle is a sought-after speaker on various topics related to management and strategy, and has been recognized as a top female leader within their peer group.
Michelle Pedigo has a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Kentucky University. Michelle also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Georgetown College. In addition, they are certified by the FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in Series 24 and Series 7. Michelle is also certified by the Kentucky Department of Education in School Superintendent, Secondary School Principal, and Secondary School Teacher.
