Jay Gruber

Jay Gruber, CPP, serves as the Associate Vice-President for Public Safety and Chief Public Safety Officer at Georgetown University, where responsibilities include leading various key departments such as Emergency Management and the Police Department. Gruber has established the Office of International Safety and Security to address the university's global safety needs. With extensive experience in public safety and emergency management, Gruber has held positions such as Principal at First-Care, LLC, and Life Member - EMS Lieutenant at Montgomery County Volunteer Fire-Rescue Association. Additional roles include various law enforcement and emergency management positions, as well as a Police Executive Fellow at the FBI.
