Romita Das is an accomplished undergraduate researcher and leader, currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh since August 2021, where research focuses on sex differences in astrocyte-related gene expression. Romita's leadership roles include Regional Events Leader for Girl Up at the United Nations Foundation and Co-President of Girl Up at the University of Pittsburgh, organizing events addressing gender inequality. Additional experience encompasses being a Senior Staff Photographer for The Pitt News, anAcademic Tutor with GoPeer, and a Nonclinical Research and Development Intern at Bristol Myers Squibb.
