Shayna Korol is a Program Associate and former Biosecurity Policy Fellow at the Nuclear Threat Initiative, with a career focusing on research and reporting in health and policy. Shayna worked as a News Researcher and Reporter at BioNews Services, conducting background research and writing articles on rare diseases. Previous roles include serving as a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, a Writer/Reporter for Becker's Healthcare, and a Policy Intern at Smart Policy Works, among others. Shayna also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health: Science, Society, and Policy from Brandeis University.
