Taijah O'Meally has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Taijah began their career as a Junior Sales Associate at Joe Fresh in 2014, and then became a Senior Sales Associate in the same company. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Correspondent and Correspondent for The Organization for World Peace. In 2019, they worked as a Junior Science and Technology Policy Analyst for Environment and Climate Change Canada, a Policy Officer for Employment and Social Development Canada, a General Board Member and Nominee for VP Federal Policy for the University of Waterloo Young Liberals, and an Arts Councillor for the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association, where they were also a member of the Policies and Procedures Committee and Internal Funding Committee. In 2020, Taijah worked as a Senior Budtender for High Tide Inc., and a Junior Housing Supply Analyst for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Taijah is currently working as a Sales Executive/Packaging Consultant at Georgette Packaging Inc., where they help businesses get their hands on branded, carbon neutral packaging.
Taijah O'Meally is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts - BA program in Honours Political Science (Global Governance), Co-operative Education at the University of Waterloo, which they began in 2016 and is expected to complete in 2023. In 2019, they also began a Diploma program in Sustainability at the University of Waterloo, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Prior to this, they completed a High School Diploma at Bur Oak Secondary School in 2016. Taijah has also obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from the uOttawa Professional Development Institute | Institut de d\u00e9veloppement professionnel uOttawa in November 2019, and Worker Health and Safety Awareness from the Ontario Ministry of Labour in February 2018.
