Romit C. is currently an Undergraduate Researcher at the Duke Department of Neurology, focusing on sensory neurobiology of pain in the Moore Lab. Concurrently, Romit serves as a Senator for Campus Life in the Duke Student Government and works as a Clinical Intern at ALPHA FAMILY MEDICINE INC. Previous experience includes a role as a CHANT Undergraduate Researcher at Duke University School of Medicine, where research centered on psychotherapy solutions for adults with mental health issues. Romit was the Sugar Hill Youth Council Mayor, overseeing activities and liaising with the city government, and also contributed as a member of the Youth Council, addressing community issues and representing youth perspectives. Romit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Duke University, with prior education including dual enrollment in Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from North Gwinnett High School.
