Kelly Johnson

Kelly Johnson, MPA, SPHR has extensive experience in human resources, particularly in the public sector. From 2016 to the present, they have held the position of Senior Director of Human Resources at the Georgia Department of Community Health. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies aligned with the organization's overall business plan and strategic direction. Kelly provides strategic leadership to the executive leadership team and implements HR efforts that support the Department's mission and vision.

Prior to their current position, Kelly worked at the Georgia Department of Transportation from 2003 to 2016. During this time, they served as an HR Program Manager, where they gained experience in various HR areas such as responding to complaints and requests, metrics development and monitoring, selection processes, performance management, and budgeting.
