Allen Fox

Allen Fox has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Allen is currently serving as the Director of Small Business Outreach at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since April 2020, and prior to that, they held the position of Director of Creative Industry Partnerships since August 2019. Before joining the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Allen worked as a Senior Associate in People and Organization at PwC from March 2018 to August 2019. Allen also served as a Transition Committee Member for Boards and Appointments at the Office of Governor Brian P. Kemp in November and December 2018. Allen has been a self-employed individual, where they founded Fox Public Affairs and worked as its Founder from August 2014 to March 2018. Allen was also the Executive Director of Competitive Georgia from May 2014 to September 2017, where they focused on advocating for inclusion and nondiscrimination. Allen has had experience in governmental roles as well, including serving as a Strategic Planning Adviser at the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget from August 2012 to August 2014 and as an Editor at the Office of Governor Nathan Deal from January 2011 to August 2012. Additionally, they have worked as a Fellow at the Republican Policy Committee, Senator John Thune, from February 2010 to September 2010, where they conducted research and prepared policy briefs. Allen started their professional career at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Teaching Assistant in Comparative Politics in 2008. Allen Fox completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Furman University from 2001 to 2005. Allen then pursued further education and received a Master of Science degree in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology for the period of 2008 to 2009.
