Kristi Brigman

Kristi Brigman has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner and Division Director at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since July 2019, with roles advancing to Director of Corporate Solutions & Cyber Security and Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Associate at KPMG US from August 2013 to June 2019, and positions as a Research Assistant at Walter Hellerstein and Summer Associate at Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, LLP. Earlier professional experience also includes a Tax Intern role at Ernst & Young and a Development Intern position at the Georgia Museum of Art. Kristi Brigman holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Georgia School of Law, and two advanced degrees in Accounting from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Georgia. Education history includes a high school diploma from Darlington School.
