Yoonie Kim

Director, Korean Investment at Georgia Department of Economic Development

Yoonie Kim has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Yoonie began their career as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Korea in 2000. Yoonie then worked as a Marketing Manager at ePhoenix Networks Co, Ltd from 2002 to 2003. In 2004, Yoonie served as a Grant Coordinator at the Asian American Resource Center before joining Google as a Quality Rater in 2005. Yoonie joined the Georgia Department of Economic Development in 2006, starting as an Associate Project Manager and later progressing to become a Project Manager and then Senior Project Manager. Most recently, they have been serving as the Director of Korean Investment at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since August 2019.

Yoonie Kim holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations and Affairs from Hanyang University. Prior to that, Yoonie completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electronic Engineering at the same institution.
