Michele Sherman

Michele Sherman has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Program Manager at the Georgia Department of Education since January 2023. Previously, Michele held various leadership positions, including Director of Student Learning and Associate Superintendent at the Columbia County Board of Education from August 1998 to July 2023. Michele's academic background includes a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Augusta State University (2002-2004), a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from the same institution (1995-1997), and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching, also from Augusta State University (1992-1993), along with earlier education at Georgia Southern University (1988-1991).
