Charles Augustine currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in addition to their role as a Staff Research Scientist at Intel Labs since October 2011. Charles has co-chaired the CICC Design Foundations Subcommittee for the IEEE Custom Integrated Circuits Conference from 2017 to 2023 and held leadership positions at the ISLPED conference. Past academic contributions include teaching 'Introduction to VLSI Design' at Washington State University. Charles has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, with a focus on low power circuits and architectures. Internship experiences include roles at Intel Corporation and Freescale Semiconductor, along with previous engineering positions at Philips Semiconductors and Texas Instruments. Charles holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
