Fatiesa Sulejmani

Fatiesa Sulejmani, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Consultant in Biomechanics at Rimkus since August 2020 and as a Faculty Lecturer at the Georgia Institute of Technology since May 2022, teaching courses in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering Design. Previously, Fatiesa was a Graduate Research Assistant involved in a joint degree program between Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Peking University from August 2013 to July 2020, and held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant in various labs focused on tissue mechanics and human neuromuscular physiology. Fatiesa earned multiple Ph.D. degrees in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech, Emory University, and Peking University between 2015 and 2020, alongside a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Research interests include transcranial magnetic stimulation, neural engineering, rehabilitation, sports medicine, motor control, and modulations of neuromotor oscillations.
