Jada Smart

Jada Smart is an experienced library professional currently serving as a Library Specialist at Dekalb County Public Library since August 2019, where responsibilities include supervising the circulation desk and enhancing patron satisfaction through effective customer service. Previously, Jada worked as a Library Technician, maintaining the library's collection and assisting patrons with various computer and reference needs. At The College of Wooster, Jada held roles as a Special Collections Assistant, responsible for organizing and preserving valuable documents and artifacts, and as a Crew Leader, ensuring campus safety and managing events. Additionally, Jada gained teaching experience as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Atlanta, where teaching 7th-grade science contributed to skill development in lesson planning and classroom management. Jada holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The College of Wooster.
