Jen Howe

VP, Development at Georgia Institute of Technology

Jen Howe has been working in development and alumni relations for over 20 years. Jen started their career at Emory University in 1996 as the Director of Development. In 2001, they moved to Vanderbilt University to start their first international advancement office as the Director of Development. In 2002, they were quickly promoted to Associate Vice Chancellor, where they supervised key fundraising, advancement services, and alumni relations functions. During their tenure at Vanderbilt, Jen was responsible for stewardship, major and principal gifts, corporate and foundations relations, planned giving, and campaign planning and execution. Jen also worked extensively with deans and faculty at the university and across the medical center, and was the lead on provost and other academic, institutional level priorities. In 2016, Jen left Vanderbilt to become the VP of Development at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jen Howe has a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from James Madison University.
