Shivangi Deo

Shivangi Deo is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, contributing to projects in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering since May 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Research and Development Intern at the Automotive Research Association of India, where Shivangi independently developed a camera-based Driver Monitoring System with notable accuracy in head pose estimation. Shivangi also worked as an Embedded System Developer at Sudeep Engineering, creating control units and user interfaces for automated machinery, and gained initial experience as a Summer Trainee at The Robotics Forum in Pune. Shivangi holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Instrumentation and Control from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
