Theodore J. Lagrow

Theodore J. LaGrow is an experienced educator and researcher currently serving as an Instructor of Record for CS7641: Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology since August 2017. Responsibilities include leading a team of over 30 teaching assistants and managing a course with more than 1200 students. LaGrow has received multiple teaching awards, including the 2022 Top Institutional Outstanding Online Graduate Teaching Assistant. In addition to academic roles, LaGrow co-founded Insight Optics, leading research and development efforts, and served in various engineering and research positions throughout a diverse career in technology and education. Academically, LaGrow holds a PhD, an MBA, and multiple degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as Mathematics and Computer Science from Georgia Tech and the University of Oregon.
