Chris Howell

Chris Howell is an accomplished Photographer and Editor at Georgia Public Broadcasting since September 2015, recognized as a 2017 Emmy winner for editing the segment "Chinese Tea, Elixir of the Orient." Prior experience includes roles as an Editor, Videographer, and Motion Graphics Artist at Johnson and Johnson Vision Care, and as a Camera Operator for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Chris also served as a Sideline Camera Operator for the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, and the University of Miami football while working with Miami Dolphins & Sun Life Stadium. In the earlier career, Chris held the position of Production Manager/Producer at YOUniversityTV, where oversight of all production and post-production aspects was key, and was a Senior Editor at GRP Communications, LLC, responsible for post-production and media management. Chris's background also includes experience as a Diver/Welder with Global Industries, specializing in underwater oil field construction. Academic credentials include a BFA in Computer Arts/Animation from Florida Atlantic University and a degree in Commercial Diving/Welding from the College of Oceaneering.
