Sheri Gibson

Sheri Gibson is an experienced photographer and editor with a career spanning over two decades at NBC Universal, where responsibilities include covering major news stories such as breaking news, politics, and sports. Gibson has reported on multiple Olympic Games, including the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, conducting interviews and photographing significant events. Prior to NBC Universal, Gibson freelanced for various news organizations and worked at NBC News Channel and WSOC-TV, gaining extensive experience in news photography and editing. Gibson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Charleston and completed graduate studies in Communication and Media Studies at American University.
