Richard Latta

Richard Latta is an experienced attorney currently serving as Attorney II at the Georgia Public Defender Council since June 2023, representing clients in a range of criminal matters. Previously, Richard worked as a Volunteer Attorney and Staff Attorney at the Georgia Innocence Project from January 2014 to February 2022, advocating for individuals wrongfully convicted of serious crimes. Richard has also held various roles in academia, including Instructor and Lecturer across multiple universities from 2007 to 2020, and completed an internship with the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in 2015.
