Cristina Irizarry

Cristina Irizarry is an experienced founder and creator of Peculiar Goods Co., an online shop specializing in unique items and all-natural vegan products since November 2020. Previously, Cristina coordinated youth services at Northeast Georgia Libraries from September 2022 to May 2024, overseeing various children's programming and annual summer reading programs. Earlier roles include retail salesperson at Mark of the Potter, weekend manager at Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia, and AV archives assistant at PETA, where responsibilities included archiving media and ensuring compliance with usage rights. Cristina's background also includes visitor services roles at notable art institutions like Chrysler Museum of Art and Hermitage Museum and Gardens, alongside editorial work at Kantar Media. Cristina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Old Dominion University and has furthered education at Thomas Nelson Community College and Mitchell Community College.
