Mario Arturo García Carvajal has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mario Arturo started their career in the US Army as an Infantry Mortarman and later became an Indirect Fire Infantryman. During their time in the army, Mario served in various roles and received training in advanced tactical operations.

After leaving the army, Mario transitioned into the field of soccer coaching. Mario Arturo worked as a head coach for the Columbus Youth Soccer Club and later joined Concorde Fire South as a Head Soccer Coach. In this role, they developed comprehensive game models, designed training programs, and utilized video analysis techniques.

Mario also contributed to the development of soccer in Georgia. Mario Arturo worked with Georgia Soccer as an ODP 09 Girls Assistant Soccer Coach and later became the ODP Regional Identification Center (RIC) Lead Coach. In these positions, they implemented training curricula and created a professional training environment for players.

In 2021, Mario took on a role as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Columbus State University, where they shared their expertise in soccer coaching. Additionally, they had a leadership position as the NCOA Deputy Commandant at WHINSEC, where they oversaw the supervision, administration, and transportation of students attending courses.

In 2023, Mario joined Concorde Fire South once again, this time as the Coaching Education Coordinator and Junior Academy Director. This role involved coordinating coaching education programs and overseeing the development of junior academy players.

Mario Arturo García Carvajal has a diverse educational background. In 1994 to 2000, they attended Colegio America, where they studied Mathematics. Later, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at American Military University. In 2016 to 2017, Mario pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources Management at Colorado Technical University.

In addition to their formal education, Mario has also obtained several certifications. Most recently, in 2023, they completed the Soccer Management & Scouting Course at Sports Management Worldwide. Mario Arturo also holds certifications such as the NATIONAL B COACHING LICENSE from the U.S. Soccer Federation, the NFHS Coach Level 3 / National Credential from the National Federation of State High School Associations, and the Principles for Coaching certification from the Georgia High School Association, all obtained in 2022. Mario also possesses the Master Army Instructor certification from the US Army, earned in 2021.

Furthermore, they hold several coaching licenses from the U.S. Soccer Federation, including the NATIONAL C COACHING LICENSE obtained in 2021, the NATIONAL D COACHING LICENSE obtained in 2019, and the NATIONAL F COACHING LICENSE obtained in 2017. Moreover, they have acquired various grassroots coaching licenses, including the GRASSROOTS 9v9 ONLINE COACHING LICENSE and the GRASSROOTS 11v11 IN-PERSON COACHING LICENSE, both obtained in 2019, as well as the GRASSROOTS 7v7 IN-PERSON COACHING LICENSE obtained in 2019, and the GRASSROOTS 11v11 ONLINE COACHING LICENSE obtained in 2019.
