Dr. Christopher Brown is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Georgia Southern University since August 2014 and serves as the Head Rugby Coach for the Men's Rugby Football Club at the institution. Notably, Dr. Brown is an accomplished author with works including "Failed Democracies in Latin America and the Caribbean" (2023) and "Democratization in Cuba" (2024), both published by Palgrave-Macmillan. Additionally, Dr. Brown is a Research Scholar with UNHCR in the Global South Consortium since April 2021 and has held scholarly positions such as NEH Summer Scholar at the National Endowment for the Humanities.
