Alison Mercer

Alison Mercer is the Senior Director of Annual Programs at Georgia State University. Alison has over a decade of experience in fundraising and development, most recently serving as the Director of Annual Giving at the United States Air Force Academy Endowment. In that role, they oversaw all communications and strategies for soliciting private donations for the unrestricted superintendent's fund, including leadership annual gifts at the Sabre Society level.

Prior to their time at the Air Force Academy, Ms. Mercer served as the Director of Annual Programs at Georgia State University for six years. In that role, they were responsible for the strategic execution and management of a comprehensive annual giving program, including leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating projects whose purpose was to build a long-term donor base of support for Georgia State.

Before joining Georgia State, Ms. Mercer was a Program Manager at RuffaloCODY, a fundraising and marketing firm specializing in higher education. Alison spent two years in that role before moving into their current position at Georgia State.

Alison Mercer graduated from Centennial High School and went on to study psychology at The University of Georgia, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
