Dr. Giorgi Khorbaladze

Dr. Giorgi Khorbaladze is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical and communications engineering, currently serving as the Head of the Balancing & Ancillary Services Market Management Department at Georgian State Electrosystem since June 2017. In addition to this role, Dr. Khorbaladze has held positions such as Head of Market Development Service, Coordinator of Market Development Program, and Specialist of Ancillary Services and Balancing Energy Division within the same organization. Prior to joining Georgian State Electrosystem, Dr. Khorbaladze worked as a Project Manager at European Youth Organization from December 2013 to May 2016. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Master's degree in Power Electrical Engineering from Georgian Technical University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from The University of Georgia (Tbilisi).
