Tyson Baber

Tyson Baber is an experienced investment professional currently serving as the Lead Investor at Georgian since September 2014. Responsibilities include deal selection, due diligence, board governance, and post-investment support, with active involvement on the boards of various companies such as Aera Technology, Beam Dental, and CS Disco. Prior to Georgian, Tyson held roles at IBM from August 2006 to July 2014, including M&A Business Development Executive and Manager of Business Analytics, where accomplishments included managing significant software acquisitions and establishing the IBM Watson Venture Fund. Tyson earned an MBA in International Business from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a JD in Corporate and International Law from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
