Cedric Jorand

Cedric Jorand has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Cedric is currently employed at Geoscience Australia as an Assistant Director, Product development since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director Digital Earth Africa, Product and Capacity Development, Stakeholder engagement from January 2020 to January 2023. Before joining Geoscience Australia, Cedric worked as an Independent Consultant from May 2019 to January 2020. Cedric also spent a significant portion of their career at FROGTECH Geoscience, where they held the position of Principal Geoscientist, Thermal Modeller and R&D Activities Manager. During their time at FROGTECH, Cedric pioneered business R&D initiatives, improved communication across teams, and contributed to the development of new products and marketing strategies. Prior to FROGTECH, Cedric worked as a Structural geologist in the Geothermal resources team at BRGM, where they focused on the structural interpretation of geothermal wells and assessed the geothermal potential of sedimentary basins in France.
