Dariush Nadri

Dariush Nadri has a diverse work experience in the field of geophysics and seismology. Dariush started their career as a Petroleum Geophysicist at NIOC in 2000 and worked there until 2003. In 2008, they joined CSIRO as a Research Scientist and worked there for five years. Dariush then moved to TGS in 2013, where they held the position of Research & Development Geophysicist until 2015. Currently, they are working as a Research Scientist and Seismologist at Geoscience Australia, starting from March 2016.

Dariush Nadri began their education at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from 1990 to 1994. Dariush then pursued further studies and completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Geophysics at the University of Tehran between 1995 and 1999. Continuing their academic journey, Dariush enrolled at Curtin University, where they obtained their highest level of education, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geophysics, from 2004 to 2008.
