Program Manager Exploring For The Future at Geoscience Australia

Laura Gow has an extensive work experience in the field of geoscience and environment. Laura currently works at Geoscience Australia as the Program Manager for Exploring for the Future, a role they have held since September 2020. Laura later became a Geoscientist and was involved in investigating the distribution and characteristics of paleovalleys in Australia.

Laura Gow has a strong educational background in the field of environmental science and geology. Laura earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Environmental Science from the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management at the University of Queensland, graduating in the years 2013-2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with Honours (First Class) in Earth Science from the University of Melbourne between 2002-2006. Laura'sstudies at the University of Melbourne focused on geology and zoology. Laura's education traces back to their time at Korumburra Secondary School, where they attended from 1996 to 2001.
