Johnnie Shannon

Johnnie Shannon is an experienced geospatial consultant with a career spanning several companies since 1988, showcasing expertise in geospatial software, remote sensing, and technical support. Currently serving as Principal Geospatial Consultant at Geospatial Insight Limited since February 2018, Johnnie leads support for Hexagon products and provides consultancy and training, while also engaging in research and development within the Geospatial and Software teams. Previous roles include Senior Geospatial Software Engineer at Sterling Geo, Geospatial Consultant at Infoterra, and Technical Support Manager at Symetri Geo, among others. Johnnie holds an MSc in Basin Evolution and Dynamics from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Leeds.
