Christopher Guido is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive expertise in optical design, analysis, testing, and alignment for ground and space-based systems. In the current role as Senior Optical Engineer at GEOST since September 2021, Christopher has designed catadioptric optical systems and developed specialized test equipment for critical measurements. Prior experience includes a tenure at Onto Innovation, where Christopher managed manufacturing processes and improved product quality across various optical systems. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, supplemented by research experience in low coherence interferometry and contributions to the Advanced LIGO detectors at the California Institute of Technology.
