George Markert

George Markert currently serves as the Director of Operations at GeoStabilization International®, where responsibilities include overseeing field operations for soil stabilization and rail services across North America while focusing on creating sustainable competitive advantages through strategic leadership. Prior experience includes roles such as Chief of Staff at the 4th Marine Logistics Group and the 2d Marine Logistics Group, where Markert managed significant personnel and resources, developed innovation strategies, and oversaw multi-million-dollar budgets. Additional positions held include leadership roles at U.S. Central Command and Marine Corps Training Command, where Markert contributed to logistics, engineering, and training for military operations. Markert holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Management from Penn State University, an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
