Kris Gettemans

Kris Gettemans is an experienced QHSE Manager currently serving at GEOxyz since March 2023, having held similar positions at Knauf Energy Solutions and as an independent professional prior to this. With a significant tenure at DEME Group from June 2017 to August 2022, Kris led initiatives to promote safety and prevent incidents across global projects and vessels. A strong background in industrial hygiene was developed during a decade at Mensura, focusing on occupational safety and risk assessments, as well as roles at Volkswagen AG. Kris also has a foundation in psychiatric nursing from work at Psychiatrisch instituut Caritas and has gained academic qualifications in occupational hygiene and safety advisement through various educational institutions.
