Karen D'Souza

Karen D'Souza has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karen started their career as a Medical Service Representative at Ranbaxy in 2003. Karen then worked as an Executive in Claims at Birla Sun Life Insurance from 2004 to 2006. Karen joined FCB Ulka in 2008 as a Sr. Executive in Strategic Planning and worked there until 2010. From 2010 to 2017, they served as the Head of Branding and Communication at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd - Pantaloons. Most recently, they held the position of Head of Brand and Corporate Communication at Gera Developments Pvt. Ltd. as of May 2018.

Karen D'Souza completed their undergraduate studies at S I E S College in Mumbai from 1997 to 1999, where they focused on science. Following this, they attended Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Pharmacy from 1999 to 2003 and earned a B. Pharm degree.

In 2006, Karen obtained a Licentiate Diploma from the Insurance Institute of India. Later that year, they enrolled in the marketing-focused MMS program at K J Somaiya Institute of Management, which they completed in 2008.

In 2018, Karen participated in a Digital Marketing and Communication Certification Program at MICA | The School of Ideas to further their knowledge and skills in this field.
