Jos Cocquyt

Jos Cocquyt currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Nevados, leading teams in Controls, Structural, and Mechanical Engineering, while also being a member of the company's Executive Leadership Team and the UL 3703 Technical Committee. Previously, Jos has held significant roles including Lead Mentor for the German Accelerator, where guidance is provided to startups on various strategic aspects, and Director of Product Development at Off.Grid:Electric, a pioneering company in distributed energy solutions in Africa. With a background in engineering consulting as a Principal at Starling Design and JBC Engineering, experience as a Blueberry Farmer, and earlier positions in advanced systems and R&D at AeroVironment and the University of Florida, Jos has a strong foundation in engineering innovation and product development. Jos holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida.
