Magdalena Shumanska

Magdalena Shumanska is a Postdoctoral Scientist currently working at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since August 2023, specializing in high-throughput automated antibody production and antigen-specific immune cell enrichment. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Scientist role at the University of Göttingen from October 2019 to July 2023, focusing on mitochondrial calcium dynamics in T-cell metabolism and function, as well as the continuation of a doctoral thesis project. Magdalena completed a Doctoral Degree in Natural Science, with concentrations in Molecular Medicine and Cardiovascular Science at the University of Göttingen, where also a Master of Science in Cardiovascular Science was obtained. Additional roles include a Student Research Assistant and Student Assistant at the University of Göttingen, with earlier experience as a Diagnostic Laboratory Assistant at Zan Mitrev Clinic. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Life and Biomedical Science from University College Roosevelt.
