Ping Liu

Ping Liu is a researcher and PhD student at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since August 2018, also holding a position as a postdoctoral researcher. Prior to this, Ping Liu completed a PhD at the Hertie-Institute for Clinical Brain Research, focusing on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of brain aging and age-related neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease. Ping Liu also contributed to research on vascular calcification as a PhD candidate at the Institute of Physiology in Tübingen. In addition to academic pursuits, Ping Liu is a member of the 2018 MedTech Startup School to gain experience in start-ups. Educationally, Ping Liu holds a Master’s degree in Geriatric Medicine from Sichuan University and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Zhengzhou University, currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen.
